Canon: Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place
Pairing: Sharon Cater/Johnny Donnelly
Canon Level: Married

Hah, looking for Pete/Berg stuff re-ignited all my nostalgia for this show. Like, I remember using one of the cast photos on the Two Guys and a Girl Wikipedia page to make icons out of way back when! I had very strong feelings about various canon couples! Johnny/Sharon got to have the unique position of being the one couple on the show that I adored without reservation. They were super cute, and there was young Nathan Fillion as handyman and the one on the show with some sense. Sharon and Johnny fought but worked things out and genuinely wanted to make each other happy, making them refreshingly low-key for a sitcom couple.

Canon: Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place
Pairing: Michael Bergen/Pete Dunville
Canon Level: Roommates/Friends

Yes, I watched this show with great intensity from the beginning and so stubbornly refuse to call it Two Guys and a Girl. Ryan Reynolds as Berg was such a chaotic fun-type of character, and I never liked how Ashley jerked him around. And Pete was right there! Living with Berg and being his friend and the responsible one and in need of Berg's brand of wacky fun to liven up his life. It was clear to teenaged-me that Pete/Berg was the way to go to solve both of their romantic problems.
