Canon: The 10th Kingdom
Pairing: Virginia Lewis/Wolf
Canon Level: Together
Continuing on yesterday's theme of media I can happily rewatch over and over again, The 10th Kingdom. It's a seven hour miniseries, and I've got three different points I'll start watching at depending on how much time I have (Little Lamb Village, Kissing Town, or just before the swamp). And all of them heavily center on Virginia and Wolf. Fairy tale reimaginings are great in general, but throw in some romance to boot and I am sold.
Wolf is great, devoted and enthusiastic but not always the smartest, and watching Virginia trying to navigate the strange world she's in is great fun. The swamp and immediately after is the best bit because that's the emotional climax of Wolf and Virginia's relationship. I sigh happily every time they finally hug.
(I will always mute the singing ring though. Sixteen years later, and I still can't stand that thing.)
