Ships that I Ship: Day 58: Jason/Marcus

Pairing: Jason Fox/Marcus Jones
Canon Level: Best Friends

They would be so adorable together! Full of first dates and first kisses and blushing and hand-holding, most likely while wearing a stormtrooper outfit. Their leisure activities would probably be even more out there as teens--rockets powerful enough to reach outer space? fixing up a car to be as close to Doc Brown's Delorean as possible?--with the additional freedom they'd get from being older, and (best) friends to lovers is forever and always a trope I want to read. Would they fight about fandom things like whether Goku could beat Superman in a fight or which edition of D&D is superior or would their fights be more typically mundane? I can't decide if I think their getting together would be easy, two friends finally acknowledging that step that's been in front of them for so long, or fraught, with them clashing against each other because they don't understand what the other wants or even what they want themselves.

Suggested reading:
It turns out that the only decent Jason/Marcus fics I've come across have been deleted off the internet, so there's nothing to go here. Sorry. (This is the first time this has happened, but it won't be the last. Ive got an "As far as I can tell, I am the only person in existence shipping these two" week to do eventually.)
