Canon: The Fifth Element
Pairing: Korben Dallas/Leeloo
Canon Level: Together

I thought The Fifth Element was a great movie when it came out twenty years ago, and I still think that. It's an action movie with just enough intelligence to keep it from being a dumb action movie and where the romance element is vital to the plot. Korben works so hard, falling in love despite his best efforts. And the climax of the movie, where he has to convince Leeloo that love can be something for her as well and that it makes everything else worth it? So fantastic.
