Canon: Eureka
Pairing: Jack Cater/Nathan Stark
Canon Level: Forced to Work Together
Aw, yeah, Euraka was great for wacky situations and colorful characters. And Jack and Nathan with all their back-and-forth are great for arguing as a form of foreplay. How many tropes can authors throw them into that results in them kissing at the end? All of them; it's all possible in Eureka. When things go wrong in town, both Jack (as sheriff) and Nathan (as head scientist) have reason to get involved, but they'll inevitably butt heads even though their shared ultimate concern is solving the problem and keeping everyone safe. They just have completely opposite approaches, which is where the fun comes in.
