Canon: The Authority
Pairing: Apollo/Midnighter
Canon Level: Married

Apollo and Midnighter, Superman and Batman analogues except way gayer. I like them in their own right though, is spite of the analogue factor rather than because of it. Apollo and Midnighter are surprisingly sweet together and are by far the most well-balanced people on the team. There's just something about the juxtaposition of these battle-ready fighters being domestic together that gets to me every time.
