Dear Yuletide Writer,
Thank you so much for writing for me! I love all my requested fandoms and characters, so I'm sure I'll love whatever you write. I promise I'm easy to please, so if you already have an idea, go for it! This letter is only for if you want a bit more information.

Porn can be hit or miss for me as far as my enjoyment of it, so I'd prefer no PWPs but it's fine as part of the larger story. Also, I know I'm requesting a lot of ship fic, but if you can't do ship fic for whatever reason, I am fine with gen, I promise, so long as it is still focused on my requested characters. I love everyone I've requested and will be happy with anything featuring them.
Final Fantasy IX
Requested Characters: Amarant Coral, Freya Crescent
I loved Amarant and Freya's friendship in the game and ended up shipping them hard, so I would love anything Amarant/Freya. Maybe they have to work together on a job post-game? Maybe they can reminisce around the campfire about where fate has led them? Maybe they can get into a low-stakes bar competition like darts or billiards? What if Amarant followed her to Burmecia post-game to help her rebuild?
With regards to Fratley, I would ask for no Freya/Fratley beyond the amount that is Freya's background at game start. He's an important part of her past, but I prefer him to stay in her past.

Look. This scene outside the auction house reads to me like the scene from a romance novel when the hero and heroine first start to get to know each other and you just know that you're seeing the beginning of sparks. They just seemed to relate to each other strongly in the game. They can challenge each other but can also work together when they need to. They've both been on their own for a while when the game starts, living as adults, and I feel like that's a point of connection and shared experience between them that doesn't exist between most of the other characters. They feel like they could a great pairing together, or even just as friends.
With Fratley being an amnesiac who doesn't remember Freya, I honestly thought her character arc in the game would be about letting go of a past that you can never return to and moving on to see what the present has to offer. I was completely gobsmacked when the game ended and she returns to Fratley, I really was. I'm fine with Fratley being Sir Not Appearing In This Fic, but I'm not a fan of post-game Freya/Fratley.
In Other Waters (Video Game)
Requested Characters: Ellery Vas, Minae Nomura, Oki
I'd love to see what happens to these three after the game ends. Minae seems to have some sort of consciousness even as she is, does she ever manage to become more of a coherent whole? How do Ellery and Oki try to help Minae? What is Ellery and Oki's working relationship like now that we know where Oki came from? What does Oki think about Ellery and Minae? What does a day look like for Ellery and Oki? I have read the supplemental pdf, so feel free to draw from that or not.

This game! I love this game so much! Despite the fact that I am so bad at directions/navigating and that's...most of the gameplay. I love all the different areas and how different they all feel from each other. I love marine life in general and find sea creatures fascinating, so an entire game of alien marine life was catnip to me, and I thought it was all perfect. I find the life in the brine pools especially fascinating, although the ratis colony is a very close second.
I'm really curious about how these three characters proceed after the game ends. Minae is spread all over the med bay, but the semi-gibberish text there seems to imply she has some amount of awareness. Ellery and Oki formed a bond of trust during the events of the game, but things might be different now that the past is known. I found the difference between how the player experiences Gliese 667Cc though Oki's sensors and Ellery's descriptions of the planet beautiful. You really get to know Ellery through her words, and the game felt like a collaborative experience to understand this planet and its life.
Shinya Shokudo | Midnight Diner (TV)
Requested Characters: Kasumi, Mariko "Marilyn" Matsushima
I would love some Kasumi/Marilyn. Marilyn has suck bad luck with men--maybe the answer is a woman? We never know for sure what Kasumi is doing running around all the time--what if Marilyn tries to follow her? Maybe Marilyn tries to give Kasumi some advice, or maybe someone who knows Kasumi outside of the diner shows up at the diner. Feel free to throw in any of the other characters from the show, but keep the focus on Marilyn and Kasumi.

Midnight Diner is so heart-warming. I love how all the stories are important on a personal scale. There's no grand drama or world-threatening danger; it's all just people and how they live their lives and relate to one another. Marilyn and Kasumi are my favorite of the recurring characters, and I just really want them to get to know each other to some extent. Or go on a small-scale adventure together. Or, really, do anything together.
My Next Life as a Villainess (Anime)
Requested Characters: Catarina Claes, Sophia Ascart
I would love some Catarina/Sophia. They bonded so well over their book club in the show--how is the book club going? Maybe it got too popular, so they arrange a second exclusive book club for just themselves? Maybe Sophia decides to eliminate her competition for Catarina by scheming to get the other harem members together with each other. Could she rope Catarina into helping her? Do they ever realize who the other was in their previous life and then analyze how the reality they find themselves in has diverged from the original game? Please note that I am only familiar with the anime, so I'd prefer for any light novel exclusive elements of the canon to not be included.

This show! Oh man, Catarina's obliviousness is endlessly amusing to me. She means well and is very kind to her harem, but she has no idea that she has a harem. I love how all the romantic rivals are aware that they're rivals but are also all friends. The harem is just very sweet and...wholesome compared to other harem animes I've watched. My preference is for Catarina/Sophia because they are both giant nerds who are super into the things they love, but all the other characters are fun too. I just feel like Catarina and Sophia could get up to all sorts of shenanigans together.
Layton Kyouju vs Gyakuten Saiban | Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Requested Characters: Espella Cantabella, Eve Belduke
I would love some Espella/Eve, especially post-canon. How do they re-kindle their friendship (and maybe more...) after the events of the game and the last few years? Maybe an outing together in Labyrinthia, or Espella visiting Eve at work? What are their lives like now that everything is out in the open?

I love me some Professor Layton and its puzzle-obsessed world. There can never be too many puzzles! Unless they are sliding block puzzles! (So many times the game is like, this puzzles can be solved in 11 moves, and 200 moves later I've finally gotten the block out of the puzzle.) I'm only familiar with Phoenix Wright through this game, but the courtroom scenes were a change of pace. References to game mechanics, or making game mechanics work in fic, is a beloved trope of mine.
Eve and Espella play into some of my favorite things. They're childhood friends who've grown apart but now they've forgiven and want to be friends again. Eve in the epilogue scenes is so different from the Eve-as-Inquisitor Darklaw we got to know over the course of the game, and I really like the shy, easily flustered Eve (still with a flair for dramatics though!) we get to know at the end of the game.
