Ships that I Ship: Day 79: Eve/Zacharias
Canon: Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Pairing: Zacharias Barnham/Eve Belduke
Canon Level: Interested in Each Other
The game Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a bit of a mess, in my opinion, both plot- and mechanics-wise, but the characters were interesting. And Zacharias and Eve were especially cute. Zacharias is so serious and dedicated to everything he decides to do and yet is still able to learn and change. Eve, post-game, is nervous and awkward now that she no longer has the defined roles of High Inquisitor and Great Witch dictating her life. She's finally free of obligations and can figure out what she wants in life for herself. A courtship between them would be so sweet as they both bumbled their way through things, trying their hardest but not really knowing what they're doing.
