Ships that I Ship: Day 34: Sakura/Lee

(This is going to be an entire week of Naruto, by the by, because I also thought up theme weeks when I was loosely planning this whole thing.)

Canon: Naruto
Pairing: Haruno Sakura/Rock Lee
Canon Level: One-Sided Crush

So I am all for romance in my reading, but I have a fairly broad definition of what sorts of things are "romantic" that has a lot more to do with the characters in question than what is traditionally thought of as romantic. For example, Chouji offering Shikamaru his last potato chip has a lot more meaning to it that Chouji buying flowers for Shikamaru. Which is my roundabout way of saying that I think Lee and Sakura would have a very traditional sort of romance if Sakura could ever get over Sasuke. They'd be so sweet! I think Sakura would genuinely appreciate Lee's courtship, and Lee would blossom because Sakura's enjoyment.
