Hockey Continues to Eat My Brain
This is more like it! The Wings have been playing rather crappily lately -- good 3rd periods, lackluster 1st and 2nd -- but tonight's game has been good so far! Thankfully. It was embarrassing when Columbus scored on our power play and then very nearly did it a second time. (Although going "Ugh, Hudler, why are you so slow?" felt familiar, haha.)
I tuned in to last night's Montreal-Minnesota game during the last five minutes of regulation, which was just the right time to tune in. Very exciting! Minnesota came back from a three point deficit to tie it up, the refs missed an obvious call which had the crowd booing for the rest of regulation and all of overtime, and then during the shootout Setoguchi fell on his ass giving Montreal the win.
Also, this commercial with Kris Draper and Chris Osgood cracks me up every time I see it because it is so obviously scripted and so stilted.
