Ships that I Ship: Day 74: Nina/Ryu (Breath of Fire I)

Breath of Fire I is a great game, and Nina is by far my favorite character. She's a magic princess with wings who has more can-do-it attitude than practicality. Ryu is a good match for her because he's just as determined. Ryu can help Nina when she gets in over her head (which is probably a lot less once she's able to transform) or needs backup, and Nina can help Ryu from getting caught up in his own head. I think Nina's energy is what Ryu needs in his life, and their support for each other can only help enable them to do great things.
