Animal Crossing Blatherings
Putting Blanche's house between others seems to be fine! So I put another plot in a similar spot for my eighth villager, and we';; see! If that's fine, I'll put another plot next to Flora's house, and if that's fine, I'll add houses to the other two rows and then all my villagers will be in a little town! If it works, Lopez will have to move his house, but he really feels like he's all by his lonesome at the moment. And my house and the campsite will probably have to move because they are now awkwardly placed. I bet one can go where Lopez currently is; I just have to decide which. And in the meantime things can stay where they are.
Celeste visited again on Monday after visiting on Sunday. I thought she could only visit once a week? Or maybe the week resets on Monday rather than Sunday. I was only able to get fourteen wishes in on her second visit, sadly. She did give me the cancer table DIY though, so that was nice.
I made several shell partitions to put around my house as a fence and used a bunch of customization kits to get all the colorways, and I really like it!
I have also done something either brilliant or horrible. I now have exactly eleven hardwood trees and eleven cedar trees, all nicely planted in one area of my island. I think that I'll get the fifteen bell drops, five wasps, and two furniture drops guaranteed one at each tree, and I will save so much time going around shaking trees every day. I also moved all my cherry trees to two areas and set up my orchard in a different area. It was a lot of work, but what little information I could find online makes it seem like this should work. I'll see tomorrow, I guess. If nothing else, this frees up a bunch of land for flower planting and experimentation.
I've had pretty good luck on mystery islands recently too. I went to two yesterday to find a new villager. First island was not exciting and had Julian whom I was not enamored with. SO I tried a second island and found a bamboo island and Flora! So now I've got a little bamboo forest going on next to my peach trees. And today I visited three mystery islands searching for a villager. First one was super boring and had Stella, and it turns out I am not fond of how clothes look on the sheep villagers. Second one was also boring but at least had a fossil and message in a bottle. It had Clay, and he was kind of neat but I thought I could do better. So I tried a third island and found shark island! I caught all the sharks plus a gold nugget. And shark island had Dobie, who seems very sweet for a cranky villager, so I invited him to come live on my island.
And a friend helped me figure out how to add friends on the Switch then came over to drop off a couple pieces of the other fruits I don't have access to, so I can start expanding my orchard to have everything. I need to wait a couple days because I've got a peach tree growing, but soon. ...Soon-ish. ...At some point. Honestly, it's going to take me a while to get all the trees grown that I want, but that's fine. Islands are all constant works in progress, and that is the joy of Animal Crossing.
