Animal Crossing Blatherings
Aww, I got a letter from Samson today just because. Mail is fun.
I made some good progress on my projects. Samson's moving, and the Able Sisters shop will finish being built tomorrow. I've got my money trees replanted near each other, so I can easily find them and won't accidentally chop them down when renovating my island. I think once Samson's moved, I can move Nook's Cranny. I'm debating a bit where I want to put it, in front of the plaza or next to it, but I'm leaning towards next to it in case I want to make a pretty entrance from the airport. Other projects still to do include moving the orchard, seeing if I can use the shell partition DIY as an outdoor fence to fence in my house, building more plots of land for potential residents, and eventually clearing an area to try planting lots of flowers in.
Pascal brought me the mermaid sofa DIY today, so that was nice. I mostly seem to get pearls from him, but that's okay. I figure I'll get the DIYs eventually, and in the meantime rare crafting supplies are good.
Redd visited, and of the four art pieces he had for sale, three were fake and the only real one was one I'd already bought. I've only bought two pieces of art so far, and the one real one was one of those two. So instead I bought a fake piece of art to see what Blathers does when I try to give it to him, and then I'll probably display it in my house.
ETA: I was finally able to ask Isabelle to rate my island today. It's at one star. Isabelle was like, "We polled your residents and they said 'I'm so glad there are no ghosts on this island. Ghosts are scary!' so you get one star because we need more people to poll." But to me it sounds like there are no complaints, Isabelle, so maybe I should have at least two stars? Hmmm?
